My sister in love is having a baby girl, shortly. I am so excited that my little girl will have a cousin so close in age, and wanted to do something really special for her. I offered to make a crib quilt, and she helped me design it.
This was my first finished quilt and first attempt at freemotion machine quilting. I am very proud of the flowers that I created!

So fun to hear from you two! I'd love to see a picture of your little girl :) And I'd also love to see a close-up of your quilt. I've been sewing lately and was thinking of making a quilt, but I'm a little afraid of the complexity and involvement. But your's looks great!
